We are almost ready to Start

KikStart Keto is a six week program that you can do over and over again. It will be combining ketogenic eating with short and long periods of Intermittent Fasting (IF) and also OMAD (one meal a day). It sounds hard but really it is actually really simple. What makes it simple is our daily laid out plan and recipes right there for you. We don't have any ingredients that are hard to find or that are extremely hard to do.

While doing this program you will be following a strict Keto plan. It will limit your carbohydrates, and adding a moderate amount of protein with higher amounts of Fat. This will get you into Ketosis faster and allow the liver to turn your stored body fat into a source of energy making your body a lean mean fat burning machine. That's one of my favorite sayings.

So as you follow the the plan to the letter your bodies ketone levels will become higher and you will get into ketosis. Yay, mission accomplished, well not really you need to remain in Ketosis to continue burning fats as your main source of energy.

Every morning you will be having Bulletproof coffee. It is really simple to make. Find your favorite Organic Coffee Brew a cup, add 2 T or less of HWC and Bulletproof Brain Octane MCT Oil this is the one I recommend. This is also an amazon Affiliate Link. So I will make a small commission off the purchase but it really is one of the bests I have used. I don't recommend anything that I don't use myself.

MCT Oil: When you drink your Bulletproof coffee with the MCT Oil it is adding fat which means added fuel and when you are doing OMAD or IF the energy boost from the Bulletproof Coffee really will help with curbing your appetite. It's my favorite part of the day.

There are cheaper varieties but they are not made with the same high quality. I know I've tried. But if you do choose a different brand please make sure it is organic and caprylic acid in the manufacturing of the oil. Some of the others can which don't work as well.

Walking: Now we do recommend walking. It is a geat way to burn off any glucose and start burning energy. I recommend the mornings if you have time and a short 20 min walk should help you.

Electrolytes: Now, I also recommend you get a good quality electrolyte this is important. This will help you with the Keto flu. When you first start your body will be flushing itself out. And you will be doing a lot of flushing. Seriously, you will feel like you can't be away from the bathroom. The peeing is intense. I am not going to lie. Electrolytes I highly recommend are ULTIMA my favorite is the Blue Raspberry and my second is the Lemonade it is really good when you mix the two together. Yum... And really this is not option. Your body truly needs to keep its electrolytes balanced.

Bone Broth: You can make your own. I really hate cooking a lot. And daily cooking is enough for me. I know some of you will want to do food prep for the week and that is great. I recommend it if you can. But I really don't do it myself. Being honest here. I use Kettle and Fire bone broth. It is my favorite. You can make your own and I will provide a recipe for that with all the weekly recipes. But like I said I use Kettle and fire. Vitamin D: Okay, here is the thing. Most of us don't get in the sun enough so we are low in Vitamin D. I had my levels tested and I was super low. I live in Oregon though so the 9 months out of the year we get rain. But if you live in areas or are not out in sun much I would def. get some supplements for this.

Enzymes: These are another thing that is important. It is something you don't have to get but are good to get if you have food allergies and sensitivities, like my daughter and husband, or IBS, diverticulitis, leaky gut, aging, low stomach acid you might want to add a supplement. But make sure it has Proteases for breaking down proteins, Lipases for breaking down fats, and carbohydrase (amylase) for breaking down you've got it carbohydrates.

Pre & Probiotics: This is something I do highly recommend and goes to my previous statement in prior lesson regarding antibiotics in your meats. Your gut has been robbed of its good flora because of all the antibiotics you've taken or that was in food. Also, high stress kills our good flora. So please get a good one make sure it has both Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium in it. I also take prebiotics. This prebiotic is the one I take. This probiotic is the one I take. It also helps with sleep... Happy me.

Triphala: This is kind of important too. But it is not a game changer if you don't get it. Well, actually it might be. One of the side effects of starting the Keto Lifestyle is constipation. And that was my major one. As stated in the blog I mentioned above. I prefer the capsules as the powder tastes awful. I use this organic version.

Fish or Krill Oil: You really don't need both but this ups your omega-3 fatty acids and is really good for inflammation. Talk to your doctor before taking this if you have bleeding issues, are taking blood thinner or have any surgeries scheduled. Oh and if you have an allergy to shellfish don't take. It is made from tiny little crustaceans.

Get your first weeks shopping list - It will look like a lot but some of it you won't have to get again until you run out.
